South by Southeast ride

A short ride around the SE part of town on a nice Wednesday evening.

First, in the Prospect neighborhood, the house that I've been watching get built for the past two years looks to be near done, on the outside anyway:

Then, on a piece of open space between Quicksilver Road and the St. Vrain, a group of horses always return here in the Spring. Can you tell that we've had some good rain lately?

One of them in particular became interested in either me or my bicycle:
