Countdown to Summer Solstice

Hard to believe that the Summer Solstice is less than two weeks away.

It's been a while since I've been through the Prospect and Creekside neighborhoods.   The "slanted wall house" in Prospect, mentioned here last year, is still being constructed but gettin' closer!

Next door in Creekside at Left Hand Creek Park, this roller hockey rink sits eerily idle and lonely.  When it was built ten to twelve years ago, this rink was packed on summer evenings like tonight with pickup games, with many players on the sidelines waiting to get in the next games. 

  Any ideas on why the interest faded?
