Loveland Great Western Sugar Beet Factory ~1985


George Booth is an ex-Ft. Collins resident (now living in Oregon) who took some pictures of the Loveland, Colorado Great Western Sugar Factory in 1985, the year that the factory was closed and shortly before some of it started to be demolished. George is also an expert railroad modeler and has been modeling some of the GW factories, including their railroad yards. You can see some of his extraordinary work here (and then look at "Construction" on the left).
