Longmont Bryant School naming, Take One

On the subject of how the former Longmont Bryant School got its name, loyal reader Ron comes through again, with a possibility.

From Ron:
William Cullen Bryant 1794-1878. Poet, newspaper editor and civic reformer. The park in New York city where their first "Worlds Fair in New York was held, home of the world famous Crystal Palace, later a huge reservoir bringing in water from 40 miles north of the city (an engineering marvel of it's time), was later and still is named for him. Bryant University in R.I. est. 1863 and still in business as well as a whole host of grade schools established under that name, mostly in the south eastern U.S. however.
Thanks, Ron.
