Another World

The current arctic deep-freeze in Longmont has me thinking about a trip I took about a month ago:


No paradise is exempt from danger, however (just minutes away from the beach):

Further inland, the police station in Boston, Georgia, which caught my eye because of the "stars on the wall" just like we have on some structures in Longmont:



Like Longmont, Boston also has a Carnegie Library (built in 1914) and theirs is still operational:


And I like old court houses too, and up the road in Quitman is the Brooks County Courthouse (remodeled in 1892) and their old jail (built in 1884):
