Loomiller Park

Ever notice that the typical Denver Chamber of Commerce or Visitor's Bureau photograph almost always includes:
  • Water
  • Lush greenery
  • A view of the mountains. Extra credit if they still have snow on the peaks.
in an attempt to show a familiar New England or Seattle-like setting, even though we're in that Great American Desert? Usually they take their picture in the early summer, from City Park, to capture all those elements.

The Longmont equivalent could be taken at Loomiller Park, greened up nicely from all of that rain last week (and the pond is full, too) with Long's Peak in the background:
