A great day to honor those who have made sacrifices for us. Perfect weather, a receptive crowd, and non-stop enthusiastic participants. Longmont gets razzed sometimes for having too many parades, but events like this do show that people will go downtown and that parking is not a problem. A special thanks to the younger parade participants, including the marching bands. This is a tradition that should always be carried forward.
Thank you, Veterans, for your service.
In addition to these pictures, you can check out the Longmont Times-Call parade slide show.
