Twin Peaks Rotary Cross Country Challenge on November 3

Coming up on November 3, 2007: a leg of a local series of cross country running race comes to Longmont. The Twin Cities Rotary XC Challenge is being race directed by my friend Jason (a superb runner himself), who also is the president of the Rotary Club this year.

From Jason:
"This cross country footrace, run entirely on dirt and grass, is race #3 in
the 2007 Fall Cross Race series. Thanks to our generous sponsors, 100% of
your entry fee will go into the Longmont Twin Peaks Rotary Charity Fund,
Inc, a registered Colorado non-profit 501(c)(3) corporate entity. Out of
this fund, numerous scholarships will be awarded to area high school seniors
who are set to attend an in-state college or university."
Registration and information is available here and you can register in person at Boulder Fleet Feet Sports and the the Boulder Running Company (insert usual whine here about Longmont not having its own running store).

Longmont supplies hundreds of entrants each year to the Bolder Boulder. It would be great to have a super local turnout to this event from our prolific running community.

This is as good as place as ever to plug the Longmont Running Club; a loose-knit group of friendly Longmont running enthusiasts, of all abilities and ages. No fees, just running.
